     Fellowship with other believers is an essential part of growing as a Christian.  For youth, it is particularly important to be a part of a community of believers the same age as them as they all face similar challenges and struggles to living as Christian young adults in this ever increasingly secular world we live in.

      Youth Ministry exists at Aldersgate United Methodist Church because the youth are valued and recognized as the future of the church (local and global) and worth investing in. Programs are designed to promote growth and commitment for each young person who walks in the doors of Aldersgate. Historically, Aldersgate was the place where John Wesley is quoted as saying he felt his heart "strangely warmed" when he became certain of his own salvation. This is the aim of Youth Ministry at Aldersgate - to be a place where young people can be warmed by the embrace of God's unending love for them.
